Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick says the board is determined to ensure the Super Eagles secure a place at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Brazil and the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, reports apnewsng.com.
The three-time African champions are poised to pick one of the five slots reserved for African teams at Russia 2018 following an impressive start to the qualifying series.
Gernot Rohr’s men won their opening two games against Zambia and Algeria and enjoyed a four point advantage over second placed Cameroon.
They will host the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a 2019 AFCON qualifying fixture at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo on June 10.
Libya and Seychelles are the other teams in the group.

his official Twitter handle on Thursday.
