Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Enugu Rangers failed to ease their relegation fears as they were held to a 2-2 draw by Gombe United in their rescheduled match-day 19 fixture at the Pantami Stadium on Wednesday, reports apnewsng.com.
The Flying Antelopes were two goals up in the encounter but failed to hold on to their advantage.
They remain in 16th position on the log, with Gombe United in 18th place.
Former Flying Eagles midfielder, Obinna Nwobodo puts visitors ahead on 12 minutes tapping home following a good work by Osas Okoro.
Nwobodo doubled his side’s advantage in the 53rd minute.
The home side however rallied back with two goals from Austine Oladapo.
Oladapo reduced the deficit in the 63rd minute firing past Ghanaian goalkeeper, Seidu Mutawakilu from close range.
The forward scored the equaliser two minutes later.
