The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has recorded thirty-five new cases of COVID-19 infections and zero death in the country.
Saturday became the 12th consecutive day Nigeria recorded no fatality from COVID-19 that has caused over 2,000 deaths and three million deaths globally since the pandemic began, it was learnt on Sunday.
The new cases were recorded in six states which include Lagos-18, Rivers-7, Oyo-6, FCT-2, Ekiti-1 and Kaduna-1 case.
The total of 164,719 cases have been confirmed so far, 154,926 discharged and 2,062 deaths in the 36 states.
The agency stated that the country’s active cases were about 9,000, as of April 24.
