Kaduna Govt. Commits to Protection of Children’s Rights

Kaduna State Government through the Deputy Governor, Dr Hadiza Balarabe, on Monday reiterated its commitment  to protecting the rights of children in the state
Balarabe disclosed this at the  commemoration of the 2023 World Children’s Day with some children at Government House, Kaduna.
She said that the sate government under the leadership of Gov. Uba Sani was giving 12 years of free primary and secondary education as well as free immunisation from preventable diseases for all eligible children.
Balarabe admonished the chilfren to be serious with their education, promising, “the State government  will give them the opportunity to unlock their potential and enable them to compete anywhere in the world.”
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the 2023 edition of the day is tagged: “A Day for Children, by Children”.
