COCA-COLA Unveils New Variants into 5Alive Fruit Juices

Coca-Cola Nigeria Limited has unveiled additional variants into the line of its 5Alive fruits juices.
The new variants which comprises of 5Alive apple, 5Alive tropical fruit and a 85cl bottle of its existing 5Alive pulpy orange fruit juice were officially announced at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on Wednesday.
The introduction of these new flavours brings to 10 the number of 5Alive variants in the market to include 1L Citrus Burst, Berry Blast, Apple, Pineapple Punch, Cocopine, Orange and 40cl 5Alive Pulpy Orange.
Speaking at the event, the Marketing Manager Stills and Flavours, Gbolahun Sanni described the launch as another chapter in the story of  5Alive.
He said, “We are launching this product because the consumer taste are changing, Nigerians are evolving and we are doing a lot of product in plastic bottles rather than cartoon like we had before. So, we will continue to develop products because the company is built on innovations and will continue to innovate tirelessly to meet our consumer needs.”
According to him, the new products come 5Alive apple and 5Alive tropical and a bigger bottle of five alive pulpy.
He explained that the tropical is a blend of five fruits, which are mango, apple, passion fruit, pineapple and orange all these in one drink.
He said, “And if you drink it, the taste is very good. And for the apple variance is not the same as other apple drink in the market. “for the apple we pick the best apple fruits and when you taste the drink , it is very light in the mouth so you can drink it very quickly it doesn’t have sharp taste which you get from some apple drink.”
Gbolahan noted that while the 85cl pulpy orange is a big family pack, “we have always had it in 40cl which is small but, now we have a big pack for the family to share and we have been getting a great reaction from the consumer and we are very excited about it.”

Also, the Public Affairs Manager Coca-Cola Nigeria, Mrs Owamaka Onyemelukwe said the new variants were to give customers different satisfying experience.
She said, “We understand that we have built a brand that we are very proud of from our research, is one of most preferred juice brand in Nigeria market. We have desire to bring more variances so we can give consumer the opportunity to make informed choices. So, that is the reason we have decided to bring something new and exciting to the five alive family. the product is a stamp of quality you know that what you are drinking is a quality product from the house of Coca-Cola.”
