The Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Engr. Saleh Dunoma has said that the authority would do its best to consolidate its position as the best industry agency in line with its vision to be among the best airports groups in the world.

Engr. Dunoma made this remark after receiving the award of Prestigious Aviation Agency of the Year at the fifth edition of Nigeria Transport Award and Lecture, organized by Transport Day newspaper held at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos yesterday April 27, 2017.

The annual event is a platform through which the newspaper rewards and recognizes agencies, companies and individuals within the sub-sector of the Nigerian economy who over time have excelled in their respective spheres of operations.

This is the second time the organizers of this event is honouring FAAN in this capacity.

Other award recipients include: Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Skyway Aviation Handling Company Limited (SAHCOL), DHL, Michelin, SOOLE, Blue Camel Energy amongst many others.

The MD was represented by Director of Engineering Services, Engr. Salisu Nurudeen Daura.
