Less than two weeks after Manchester attack in United Kingdom that left 22 persons dead, another terror attack has occurred in the country, killing six persons and injured over 30 residents.
It was gathered the three attackers drove a van at high speed into pedestrians on London Bridge before stabbing several others in nearby bars on Saturday night.
The attackers were said to have been shot dead in the Borough Market area near the bridge by armed police officers that rushed to the scene to prevent lose of lives
Confirming the number of causalities, Britain’s top anti-terrorism officer, Mark Rowley said: “Sadly, six people have died in addition to the three attackers shot by police,”
He said the three attackers had been wearing what looked like explosive vests that were later found to have been hoaxes.
