Super Eagles off to Uyo on Monday for South Africa clash

The Super Eagles will depart Abuja for Uyo on Monday to begin preparations for next Saturday’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, reports apnewsng.com.

The team converged in Abuja on Sunday after a two-day rest following their arrival from a training tour of France on Friday.

“We will be leaving Abuja for Uyo on Monday to commence final phase of preparations for 2019 AFCON qualifier vs South Africa,”reads a tweet on the team’s official Twitter handle.

There will also be a media parley on Thursday for media practioners ahead of the game.

“Our pre- match media parley will take place on Thursday, June 8, at the Le Meridien Hotel, Uyo at 12pm,” reads another tweet on the handle.

The game will be played at Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Saturday, June 10.

Seychelles and Libya are the other teams in the group.
