Be Security Ambassadors, Halogen Urges LBS, GNAM Students

Halogen, the foremost integrated security solutions provider in Nigeria has called on Lagos Business School (LBS) and student representatives from the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) to be security ambassadors as a way of contributing their quota to have safe societies.

The Managing Director/CEO, Halogen Security, Mr Wale Olaoye, made the call when he hosted some students from the Lagos Business School (LBS) and student representatives from the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) at its corporate Head Office in Ikeja, Lagos state.

Olaoye who charged the students to strive to become ambassadors for security and safety and said, “Halogen is focused on offering innovative security solutions, customized and easy to use. The company has always benchmarked itself against global best practices which he is certain will help achieve its aim of being the industry leader in the West African sub region in the next few years, and a major player on the entire continent”.

The visit was made in appreciation of the significant impact of Halogen in the security business and its commitment to making landslide improvement in the industry.

The event was a platform for the students to acquire knowledge in the industry and open up conversations for further discussions.

The Associate Director Brand & Strategic Markets, Halogen Security – Mrs. Uche Mojekwu who facilitated the Knowledge sharing session, welcomed the students and their facilitators to the company, and spoke on the history of Halogen and its sales strategies.

In her presentation, Uche gave an overview of the company’s operations and sales strategies with emphasis on the corporate payoff “Safety in an Open World”.

Lagos Business School is a member of The Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM). The visit is part of its Global Network Week which held from the 17th – 21st of October 2016 in Lagos, with the theme “Selling Strategies for Consumer Markets: Perspectives from Africa’s Largest Economy”. The aim of the programme is to expose the delegates who are MBA students to best sales practices in a product based and service based environment. Halogen Security Company Limited was identified as their preferred partner for providing their delegates with this experience.

The Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM) brings together twenty-eight leading business schools from diverse regions, countries, cultures, and economies in different phases of development. IT offers a common motivation of member schools to connect and position their students, faculty, staff, alumni and other constituencies so that they can deepen their understanding of differences and commonalities in their economies and increase their effectiveness.

In attendance were 33 students and 3 facilitators from both LBS and GNAM, who all appreciated and thanked Halogen for the warm reception and knowledge shared.
