Schalke are interested in signing on-loan Celtic defender Moritz Jenz in this window.
According to Sky Sports News, the 23-year-old was exploring his options and he is due to be recalled by his parent club, Lorient.
Jenz originally signed for Celtic in the summer, on a season-long loan with an option-to-buy.
The centre-back has fallen down the pecking order and the Hoops have signed Yuki Kobayashi in this window.
