Chelsea’s in-form Nigerian winger Victor Moses was yesterday named man of the match after the Blues hard-fought victory over Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.

The win which was Chelsea’s sixth consecutive victory and a sixth game without conceding has seen Chelsea rise to the top of the league table after Liverpool could only muster a single point against Southampton.
The game which proved a tougher test for Chelsea than their demolitions of Manchester United and Everton was settled by a 41st minute goal by league top scorer Diego Costa and although Moses missed a chance to double the lead, his tenacity and work-rate came in handy for the Blues.
Next up for Moses and his teammates is a crunch London derby against bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge next Saturday
