Enugu Rangers goalkeeper, Nana Bonsu says he is ready to return to action after spending several weeks on the sideline due to a knee injury, apnews.com can report.
The Ghanaian born shot stopper who is the Flying Antelopes first choice goalie has not featured regularly for the Nigeria Professional Football League champions this season this season as a result of the injury.
The Coal City side were also forced to acquire the services of former junior international, Bassey Akpan with their second choice shot stopper Itodo Akor also struggling with his fitness.
Bonsu, who has represented Ghana at the U-17 level hinted he is close to full fitness and will be okay before the commencement of the second stanza of the campaign.
“I can confirm to you that i’m seventy percent fit at the moment,”he revealed to apnewsng.com from Enugu on Tuesday.
“Right now, i’m working in the gym and all things being equal, I will be fully fit by the time the league starts again.”
