The Police Command in Ebonyi on Friday, said there have been no act of protests across the 13 Local Government Areas of the state following the ongoing nationwide hunger protest.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the hunger protest, which is on its day 2 started on Thursday in some states across the country.
NAN reports that the youths in the state have remained calm over the protest and economic activities are smoothly running.
DSP Joshua Ukandu, Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Police Command in the state told NAN that no incident of protest was reported in the state.
According to Ukandu, Ebonyi state is relatively calm, there have been no protest anywhere in the state.
“People have been going about their lawful businesses; the command deployed massively to ensure the state is peaceful for the residents,” he stated.
