The Director General of the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), Dr. Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami has called on International Business Machine, (IBM) to spread its services across the six Geo political zones in Nigeria.
Pantimi who made the call when the Country General Manager IBM Mr. Dipo Faulkner and his management team paid a courtesy visit to NITDA also reinstated the agency’s commitment to projects of national importance.
According to him, IT activities and services has been dominated in Lagos and starving other parts of the country from benefiting from such service.
The DG NITDA, assured IBM of his readiness to continue the collaboration they had with his predecessors as much as the projects are of national importance.
Pantami informed the delegation that his strategic plan is design in a way that supports the current administration’s agenda and the nation at large.
He employed IBM to be generous in the distribution of their services to other geopolitical zones of the country so that other part of Nigerian can benefit.
The visit according to the IBM’s country Manager was to further strengthen existing relationship enjoyed over the years.
