Kayode Olanrewaju has been ruled out of Nigeria’s international friendly encounter against Corsica due to club commitments, apnewsng.com can report.
Three-time African champions are due to face Corsica in Ajaccio on May 26. Olanrewaju is however expected to be in action for his club, Austrian Wien against Salzburg a day earlier.
With the Corsica friendly not falling on the FIFA friendly window, Austrian Wien have no mandatory right to release him for the clash.
The forward has been in fantastic form in the Austrian Bundesliga season notching 16 league goals.
He will hope to be part of Nigeria’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against South Africa next month.
