Nigeria forward, Anthony Nwakaeme is unperturbed over his recent omission from the country’s squad for the friendly encounter against Corsica and camping programme in Paris, France, reports apnewsng.com.
Nwakaeme was recently crowned the best player in the Isreali League following his impressive showing for Hapoel Tel Aviv. His team-mate, John Ogu was however called up to the squad.
However, despite his wave making showing for the Isreali champions, he has consistently been overlooked by the national team selectors.
He is however not bothered by the snub and is prepared to wait for his time.
“As long as John Ogu is in the team, i know my time will come,”he told a Lagos based radio station on Thursday.
“Ogu told me Rohr is a proper professional. He’s building a great side capable of beating any team,”he concluded.
