Med-View Airline PlC has passed the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Operational and Safety Audit (IOSA).
This put the airline in the list of Nigeria airline operators who have scaled through the international safely ranking.
IOSA certificate is given by IATA to airlines who meet up with global best practices after two years of evaluating the operator.
The IATA Regional Manager for West Africa, Mr. Samson Fatokun while presenting the IOSA certificate to the Med-View Managing Director, Alhaji Muneer Bankole at the airline’s headquarters, Olowu, Ikeja congratulated Med-View Airline for attaining the feat of being among the class of airlines that meet the highest standards attainable anywhere in the world.
He said IOSA certification is not a mere achievement but, of a rigorous and stringent assessment of the entire operations of the airline.
Fatokun advised the airline to ensure it keeps the standards to remain in the registry and strive to achieve the enhanced IOSA which is the next stage after the main IOSA certification.
Meanwhile, the Managing Director of the airline said the success was dedicated to Med-View staffs for working tirelessly towards achieving the IOSA certification.
Bankole assured of Med-View’s commitment to remain in the league by not only sustaining the standard but improving on it.
He said the IATA certification is a initiative that would boost public confidence in safety of air travel.
