Kano Pillars has reappointed former Enyimba coach, Kadiri Ikhana, as it’s new technical adviser.
The 64-year-old returns to take charge of Sai Masu Gida for the third time since helping them to clinch their first-ever Nigerian league championship in 2008.
Tukur Babangida’s led management has ratified the re-engagement of Ikhana which takes immediate effect following the exit of former coach, Mohammed Babaganaru.
“Kadiri Ikhana has been reappointed as the coach of Kano Pillars by the management board. He was appointed after a board meeting and he will be unveiled in two days time [on Tuesday] in Kano.
“This is the third time will be having Ikhana as the coach and we are very confident he will bring the could back to where we truly belong as title contenders next season.” Idris Malikawa
