Dayo Ojo rejoins Sunshine Stars after failed Sudan move

Sunshine Stars have announced Dayo Ojo has rejoined the club after a short stint at Sudanese champions Al Merriekh.
According to a statement by Sunshine Stars media officer Chris Okunnuwa, midfield maestro cum striker Ojo rejoined the Akure club, while well-traveled Benioise defender Durand Thuram signed after a spell with Mauritanian outfit Curepipe Starlight SC.
Another academy graduate of Sunshine Stars, Seun Olulayo (winger), also rejoined the team alongside his team mate from Abia Warriors, Michael Okoyoh (midfielder) as Cameroonian defender Isaac Hele Hele returned to Akure from El Kanemi Warriors for a second spell with Stars, while Ike Thankgod (defender) completed his switch from Eyimba.
Winger Jolly Osas joined from NPFL champions Enugu Rangers, Ezekiel Thompson, a striker, from Wikki Tourists and winger Ebitimi Agogo signed from 3SC.
Meanwhile, Ojo Olorunleke (Akwa United), Ayo Saka (Rivers United), Samad Quadri (Lobi Stars) and Yahuza Bala officially departed Sunshine Stars during the 2016/17 NPFL midseason break, while Toyin Abegunde, Yakubu Adam, Folayemi Michael, Akintola Olusoga and Olotu Akinyemi have been drafted to the feeders team, Rising Stars FC.
