The All Progressives Congress, APC, has welcomed President Muhammadu Buhari back to the country after his 49-day medical vacation in the United Kingdom, UK.
It noted that Buhari is now well rested and has returned with new vigour and optimism to fix the challenges facing the people and fulfil the promises which the party made to Nigerians during the 2015 elections.
The ruling party stated this in a statement issued on Friday by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.
APC commended the President for following due process by properly handing over power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, thereby saving the country the needless controversies and crisis that Nigeria experienced in the past.
The statement also lauded Osinbajo for competently holding forte on behalf of his principal and for his loyalty and commitment to the party’s ‘Change Agenda’.
