President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday met with the freed 82 Chibok school girls in Aso Villa after their release barely 24 hours ago in Borno State.
The girls which were brought to the Aso villa at about 7.15pm by two coaches were received by the President who welcomed the girls.
President Buhari commended Red Cross and Nigerian military for their role in release of the abducted girls three years ago.
The President assured that his administration would not relent until all the girls have been released by the terrorist group, Boko Haram.
He said: “This evening I received 82 of our daughters, who have just regained their freedom after three years in Boko Haram captivity.
“We’ve always made it clear that we will do everything in our power to ensure the freedom and safe return of our daughters, and of all Boko Haram captives,” Buhari added.
