Shelling has hit towns and cities in the Kharkiv region in the last day.
Kharkiv, Chuguyiv, Izyum and Kupyan all suffered artillery fire, although no victims have been reported so far, according to the regional governor, Oleg Sinegubov.
A missile strike overnight also hit the city of Kupyansk, “completely destroying” the administrative building, Sinegubov said.
The rocket started a fire across an area of 400 square metres.
