Nigerian trio, Moses Simon, Anderson Esiti and Samuel Kalu have been nominated for Belgian outfit, KAA Gent’s player of the season award, apnewsng.com can report.
The trio are in the running for the award alongside a host of their team-mates including Yuya, Kubo, Jeremy Perbert, Lovre Kalinic, Samuel Gigot, Stefan Mitrovic and Rami Gershon.
Other players on the list are,’ Thomas Foket, Brecht Dejaegere, Thibaut de Smet and Louis Verstraete.
Ghana’s Nana Asare picked the award last season.
The player with the highest number of votes will go home with the award which is in honour of club legend, Jean-Claude Bouvy.
The winner will be announced on Thursday, May 18.
