
The National Assembly has announced postponement of resumption of its two chambers from September 13 to September 20 in order to allow the lawmakers observe Eid-El-Kabir celebration.
The National Assembly’s Clerk, Mohammed Sani-Omolori, who made the announcement in a statement urged Senators and House of Representatives members to comply with the new resumption date
Omolori’s two-paragraph statement titled: “Postponement of resumption date” reads: “This is to inform all distinguished Senators and members of the House of Representatives of the Federal Republic of Nigeria that the resumption date of both Houses in plenary has been rescheduled from Tuesday, 13th September, 2016 to Tuesday, 20th September, 2016.
“All distinguished Senators and honourable House members are by this notice requested to resume sitting in plenary on Tuesday, 20th September, 2016 by 10.00am prompt.”
