‘Red Hot Promo 4′ is to Empower Telecoms Customers’ – Airtel

Airtel Nigeria on Wednesday said that its ‘Red Hot Promo is meant to empower customers with  over N200 million to be given out in the ongoing Season 4′.

The Chief Commercial Officer, Airtel Nigeria, Mr Ahmad Mokhles states this during the rewarding of winners in Lagos.

According to him, the promo was a noteworthy consumer empowerment initiative designed to enrich telecommunications consumers in Nigeria.

Represented by Mr Oladokun Oye, the Regional Operations Director, Airtel, he said the   rewarding of winners indicated eloquent testimony to Airtel’s commitment to, not just fulfilling its pledges to customers, but also in going the extra mile to delight them.

According to him, with the Red Hot promo, Airtel has spread love, joy and happiness in many Nigerian homes, just as it had created credible platforms for many Nigerians to join the millionaire club.

”In fact, the Airtel Red Hot promo aligns with one of our key objectives of connecting Nigerians to their dreams and empowering telecoms consumers to realise their full potentials.

”At Airtel, we are passionate about creating innovative platforms, products and services that will excite, delight, empower and enrich telecoms consumers in Nigeria.

”The Airtel’s Red Hot Promo 4 is a demonstration of our resolve to reward, excite and uplift our customers for their patronage and loyalty, while also welcoming new users to our network.

”We chose this period of the year to organise this big reward initiative as it is a befitting way to end the year on a winning and rewarding note for our esteemed customers.

”Currently in its fourth season, the Red Hot Promo had improved the socio-economic status of many Nigerians and assisted others to achieve their aspirations,” he said.

The Head of Mass Segment, Airtel, Mr Dipo Jolaosho said that customers should ”Recharge and become an AIRTELONAIRE!’, as Airtel was determined to turn lives around this season.

Jolaosho said that up for grabs this year was a whooping N200 million made up of 8 weekly prizes of N10 million, 60 daily prizes of N1 million and 10 daily prizes of N100,000 each, amidst other consolation prices.

He said that to participate and win in the Airtel RedHot promo, all that a customer had to do was to recharge at least N100 to accumulate points.

”To accumulate points; recharge your line; the more you recharge the higher your chances. Buy any voice bundle; voice bundles earn you additional points. Buy any data bundle; data bundles earn you additional points. Then take the “deal of the day”. It also earns you additional points,” Jolaosho said.

Mr Joshua Ngada, the Head of Lagos Office, Consumer Protection Council (CPC) said that the council had not heard any complaint from consumers, concerning the Red Hot Promo.

”It shows that the promo is true, that it is of integrity and it is genuine,” Ngada said.

He urged telecommunications consumers to always report any issue that arose from services and promos of service providers.

Eight customers were rewarded with N100,000 each, two customers got N1 million each, while Mr Olusegun Adesanya won the star prize of the week of N10 million.

The promo will which start on December run till February 3, 2017.
